Lots of CONGRATULATIONS in order this month:

To DGE Bill Tenant on the successful District Assembly a few weeks ago. The speaker, Nabil Oudeh was fabulous, as anyone in attendance would concur.

To the Brockton Rotary's 100th Anniversary Celebration concert it was wonderful. The Brockton High School Advanced Concert Band played Randy Klein’s “Brockton”. It was an original piece composed for the event. It doesn't get more special than that. Thanks to Amy Korin for making this happen.

To the Braintree Rotary Club's celebrating 95 years with a reenactment of their original Organizational Night's meeting. Patrick J. Leonard, Jr., Official Club Historian, spent 18 months planning this wonderful evening. See a picture on the www.rotary7950.com rolling banner of photos.

To Rona Mann for another successful International Night - this one being the 25th anniversary of the event.

To the six D7950 Rotarians who received their pins and graduated from the Rotary Leadership Institute on March 31st in Lincoln, RI.

I had the pleasure of attending the Providence club's Million Dollar Meal hosted by Johnson & Wales University along with DGE Bill Tennant, and we honored club President Don Saracen and AG Ed McDonough for 25 years of Rotary service. Don and Ed were inducted on the same day in 1993.

A message from DGE Bill Tennant:
It has been a busy year preparing to be the Governor for District 7950! Debbie and I have spent countless hours learning and collecting information. We have attended many wonderful events and meetings and look forward to many more. We appreciate everyone's assistance and look forward to working with each club in the coming year. We have had the opportunity to tout the amazing work the clubs in the District have done to Rotarians from around the world at Zone and International events with pride! We thank each and every Rotarian for your boundless energy and spirit.

The joint installation of the District Governor and President of the Braintree Club will be on June 15th at Lantana in Randolph. Details and a link to register will be available shortly.

There is still time to register for the Rotary International Convention in Toronto, June 23-27. Many District 7950 members will be attending and this is an opportunity to discover the worldwide scope or RI. If you have never been to an RI Convention, this is a great opportunity for an amazing experience. Register here.
