I must begin my December newsletter with a memorial tribute to Ann Williams!
I first met Ann in 2000 a couple of years before she became the first female governor of District 7950. From the day I met her until a few months before her passing I was constantly amazed at her energy, passion, knowledge and unwavering devotion to Rotary. Ann attended EVERY District, Zone and International Rotary event! She offered her time and knowledge to every governor that followed her and was chair or on a District committee every year since her governorship! When she heard I was on track to be governor she offered her help even though her health was failing.
Rotary, this District and I will be forever indebted to her for all she has done. God bless you Ann and say Hi to Paul Harris for us!!

It is hard to believe we have come to the halfway point in our year!
December has been a whirlwind of Christmas and Holiday parties! As important as the regular meetings are the social events are where the fellowship blossoms !! We have been invited to install quite a few new members which bodes well for our District!

With the new year comes training for our newly elected Presidents-elects and officers! The Mid Year/ PrePETS meeting in February will begin the process. Next, NEPETS for the President-elects will take place in March. The Governor Elects have been working hard for the last 5 months to put together a GREAT training event for them!
