Greetings from your new District Governor:
Billy Roberts
I hope the summer finds you healthy and eager to connect in person again with fellow Rotarians!  While it was a difficult year for everyone, I’m deeply proud of what we in Rotary were able to accomplish, in spite of the pandemic. We rose to the occasion and lived our motto, “Service above Self”. Over the course of the year, I look forward to meeting you and helping your clubs to grow and provide valuable service to your communities—here in the U.S. and around the world.

In my term as District Governor, I’ll be assisted by a team of talented and dedicated people who’ve taken on District leadership roles to help you and your club in every way they can.  Please don’t be shy—reach out to them and take advantage of all they have to offer!

District Installation Celebration 9/18

To recognize the accomplishments of what was a difficult but productive year and share ideas for the new, we’ll be hosting a District Installation Celebration at the Sea Crest Hotel in Falmouth RI on September 18th, at 5 pm.  At this event we’ll toast the work of Immediate Past District Governor Charlene Jarest and her leadership team, hear a few words about what’s coming this fall, and view projects from around the District that clubs are particularly proud of.  And of course, we’ll enjoy the camaraderie that is so vital a part of Rotary! I hope you’ll be able to join us.  More information will follow shortly.

Note to Club Presidents:  Please prepare a table-top display showcasing the project your club is most proud of.  For more information, contact Governor Billy Roberts at billyrdg2021@gmail.com
