Welcome to the Youth Engagement Council Monthly Newsletter. Our hope is to bring you the latest news on all Youth Programs in District 7950. Please share this information with your club and members. Each month we will have updates, news stories and features about all of the youth programs offered in the district and through Rotary International.
Register your Interact Club
District 7950 is implementing a mandatory annual registration policy for each Interact Club identified in My Rotary as ACTIVE. This policy is to ensure advisors and students are insured under the umbrella of Rotary International’s general liability insurance policy. If Interact Clubs are not registered with current information, including the advisor’s name and contact information, the Interact Club will not be covered by RI per the organization’s policy. The Durfee Interact Club from Fall River assembled Blessing Bags that were delivered to a local community partner. Great job!!
DISTRICT Youth COUNCIL UPDATES
Our Interact District Council members will be involved with both their peers and our District Youth Engagement team in developing, teaching, supporting and leading selfless responsible and challenging actions, that will create positive social change in our communities and around the world.
Council members and those working with them will always display and teach the actions found within Rotary’s Four Way Test.

An exciting adventure awaits you, as a potential Rotary exchange student. You look to expand your horizons as they’ve never been expanded before. We invite you to explore our site, learn more about the program, and, if it’s right for you, take those first steps toward one of the most amazing, memorable adventures of your life.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where you develop your skills as a leader while having fun and making connections. RYLA typically takes place in May. Stay tuned for more info!

May 30th - June 1st - District Conference
August 15th — Reports due for the Rotary Citation for Interact Clubs
