This is in AREA 10; Cranston, Pawtucket, Pawtuxet Valley, Providence, Warwick
Clubs are encouraged to use these events in place of a meeting.

Beginning this year, 2026–2027, the OFFICIAL District Governor Visits will transition to Area District Dinners (ADDs). Each Area District Dinner will have a confirmed date and location selected collaboratively by the Assistant Governor and Club Presidents within that area, bringing clubs together to meet with the entire District Governor Track (DG, DGE, and DGN). The dinners will be held on Wednesday or Thursday evenings, featuring fellowship, dinner, and interactive discussion with district leadership.

#5 Is it fun?!?!? Bring Your Club Spirit; as part of each Area District Dinner, clubs are encouraged to showcase their unique identity by wearing something that represents their club—matching T-shirts, hats, headbands, costumes, or any other creative idea of club pride. This display of club spirit will add energy to the evening, encourage participation, spark conversation, and celebrate the individuality of each club while strengthening fellowship throughout District 7950.

Designed to strengthen connections encourage collaboration, and prepare for our future merger with District 7910, these gatherings will provide clubs with opportunities to share successes, discuss challenges and concerns, explore member engagement strategies, and learn from one another.

Each dinner will also serve as a District Future Fund (DFF) fundraiser. Attendees will be encouraged to contribute a minimum of $5, with proceeds supporting district budget needs, leadership development, District Assemblies, and efforts to keep registration fees affordable for members. By bringing clubs together regionally, we hope the Area District Dinners will strengthen communication, build relationships, and foster a greater sense of community across District 7950.
