Ready....Set...IMPACT....Making Every Action Count!

MORNING SESSION: MEET YOUR ROTARY FAMILY:BEYOND THE BADGE

Led by District Leadership Team

Connect with fellow Rotarians and discover the experiences, passions, and perspectives that make our district strong. In this interactive session, we'll take time to get to know the people behind the service by exploring who we are, what inspires us, and how we connect through Rotary. Whether you're a new member or a decades-long Rotarian, this session will celebrate our Rotary family and strengthen the relationships that make our clubs and our district thrive.

1. ROTATING THROUGH THE ACTION PLAN:

Please note this is one large session in which Rotarians will rotate through each mini-session listed below.

  • INCREASE our IMPACT: Increase your club’s IMPACT in your community and globally by giving 5% more TIME, TALENT, and TREASURE to the Rotary Foundation this year.
  • EXPAND our REACH: Increase your club’s REACH with VISIBILITY sharing PICTURES and PROJECTS showing Rotarians as PEOPLE of ACTION embracing Public Image tools – Website Sites, social media, Newsletters, and Community Events.
  • ENHANCE Participation Engagement:  Increase member experience through FELLOWSHIP, FOCUS, FULFILLMENT and FUN! Enhance our approach by creating an environment that is welcoming to ALL and members FEEL a sense of belonging. During this informative 10-minute session, participants will learn how engaged members create stronger clubs, greater impact, and a more rewarding Rotary experience.
  • Increase OUR ability to ADAPT: Increase your club’s ability to ADAPT through exploring NEW APPROACHES, being FLEXIBLE, and seeking BALANCE between traditions and experimentation.
  • YOUTH is our FUTURE:  Support youth leadership development through exploring Interact clubs, District Youth Conference, RYLA, and Youth Exchange. Learn how your club can get started, be more involved, and the value of encouraging students to participate.

2. DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS - AVOIDING DIVISION WITHIN THE CLUB:

In this engaging session, members will learn practical communication skills that strengthen relationships, foster understanding, and reduce conflict. By listening to learn, leading with empathy, asking curious questions, and focusing on shared values, participants will discover how to build trust, navigate differences respectfully, and create stronger clubs and communities.

3. SO, YOU'RE A ROTARIAN...NOW WHAT? FINDING YOUR PLACE IN ROTARY:

New to Rotary? You're not alone. This session is designed for Rotarians with less than two years of membership who want to better understand Rotary, build connections, and discover opportunities for involvement. Learn how to navigate Rotary's many acronyms, ask the questions everyone is thinking, find your place within the club and district, and access resources that support your growth. We'll also discuss how to handle differing opinions and conflict while living Rotary's values. Leave feeling more confident, connected, and ready to make the most of your Rotary journey.

Each session will be facilitated by a District representative and is designed to be interactive, engaging, and inclusive. Whether you're a new member or a seasoned Rotarian, you'll leave with practical ideas, valuable connections, and the confidence to take action—no matter where you are in your Rotary journey.

You can contact Stephanie Mancini (617) 634-2231 or at SManciniRotary@gmail.com for any questions regarding registration.
