Welcome

Rotary District 7950 is a thriving community of over 2,000 dedicated Rotarians across 65 clubs in Southeast Massachusetts, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, and all of Rhode Island. These clubs are deeply embedded in their local communities, all committed to the principle of "Service Above Self." The district supports its clubs with resources, training, and engaging events that foster fellowship and networking. We actively advance The Rotary Foundation's mission, contributing to global initiatives like polio eradication, striving to end human trafficking, providing clean water and sanitation resources, as well as promoting peace.

Guiding our actions is The Four-Way Test:
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?" And currently our DG Nicole Brien encourages us to also ask, "Is it fun?"

We're also deeply dedicated to youth engagement through programs like EarlyAct, Interact, RYLA, and Youth Exchange, cultivating leadership and community service in young people.

To enhance local engagement, District 7950 is structured into four geographically organized Councils (Cape & Islands Rotary Council, South Shore Council, West Bay, and Interstate North & East). These councils are crucial hubs for networking, inter-club fellowship, joint service projects, idea sharing, and Rotary education.

Recent highlights for our District include membership growth, the establishment of Peacebuilder Clubs, and a smooth leadership transition to our new District Governor, Nicole Brien. We believe that cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture is essential for creating lasting change, valuing contributions from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities. We're actively working to advance equity, ensuring everyone has access to resources and opportunities, and fostering an inclusive culture where every person feels valued and belongs.
